Two tests, depending on the time you have
The express test is 10 questions and takes about five minutes. It gives a first orientation, with the wide margin of error that goes with a test that short.
The full test is 36 questions across four areas — logical, numerical, verbal and spatial reasoning — and takes around twenty minutes. It places you more tightly and produces a profile.
What you get at the end
- an estimated score, with the range you most likely fall in;
- your position on the population curve;
- four sub-scores, one per area;
- every question corrected, with the reasoning behind the answer.
That last part is what most competing sites keep for a paid version. Here it appears with everything else.
What this is not
It is not a psychological assessment. A real assessment happens face to face, with a psychologist and an instrument standardised on a reference population, and takes hours. No online test replaces that — and be wary of any that implies otherwise.
The number you get here is an estimate. That is why it comes with a range rather than on its own: “118” suggests a precision a twenty-minute test does not have, while “118, most likely between 110 and 126” tells the truth.
