Why this site exists
Search for a free IQ test and, between the serious sites, you will land on pages that have you answer fifty questions for an hour and then announce that seeing your result costs one euro — followed, in small print, by fifteen or twenty a month, automatically renewed and hard to cancel. The public complaints are numerous and specific.
This site was built to occupy the opposite position. The test is free, there is no account to create, no e-mail to leave, and the complete result — score, range, area profile and a full worked correction of every question — appears at the end without anything being asked of you.
The editorial line
Never promise more than is measured. The score comes with its uncertainty range, the sub-scores are presented as a profile rather than a measurement, and the method page sets out the model and its limits.
Collect nothing that is not necessary. The site anonymously records which questions are answered correctly — that is what lets it sharpen its item difficulties over time. Nothing else: no IP, no cookie, no identifier.
Do not flatter. A high score is not dressed up as genius and a low one is not disguised. Grandiose vocabulary is the sales tool of the sites that want your card details; it has no place here.

Reporting a problem with a question
If a question strikes you as ambiguous, or you think an answer marked wrong is defensible, write to [e-mail] with the question number. A badly worded item distorts everyone’s score, so these reports are genuinely valuable.
